The Mould investigation can take different avenues and can be tailored to different budgets. From air and contact sampling of visible organic material to more thorough inspections that use Infrared Thermography as well as a Borescpoe to see what is hidden behind the walls. Since Mould is a result of moisture entering the building envelope, it is important to locate the source of the intrusion prior to abating the problem, if the source is not found, the Mould will return. If the source is not visible with the naked eye Infrared Thermography is vital. Infrared Cameras measure temperature variances (I use a Flir E60bx camera that measures over 76,000 individual temperature pointes) as opposed to digital photography that measures variances in light. You will receive digital photos of areas of concern for use when dealing with contractors about abatement.
