Ozone has proven to be ineffective against mold spores and dangerous to humans. The American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) do not recommend using ozone against visible mold growth. Ozone only affects what it can reach. Many areas of the home with potential mold problems are out of reach for an ozone machine. Additionally, assuming the ozone did in fact kill the mold, even dead mold spores can cause ill health affects including asthma and allergies. Thus, mold growth should be removed or when appropriate, encapsulated.
The results of your mold inspection are kept confidential. We do not release your reports to any government agency, insurance company, rental tenant, etc.
